From CMI’s Executive Director…

Ever had a year that went exactly as you planned?  Not me, either.  But nothing prepared any of us for 2020…

You have to give it to 2020. It goes down as the greatest plan-wrecker in my lifetime.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner in this historic year, I wanted to reflect back on CMI in 2020. I wondered what I might see. What has the Lord done in the craziness?

For all we didn’t know heading into 2020…and for all we don’t know about the future…here are a few ways the Lord has clearly been at work transforming lives this year thanks to your faithfulness.

  • The Lord used a teenager from Puembo Church to share Jesus with his parents struggling in their marriage. Read more »
  • From homeless and living out of his car to full-time missionary on the other side of the world, God sent Agustin and his family to be the first International Missionary family sent out by Norte Church. Read more »
  • The pandemic provided the opportunity for us in the U.S. to learn more about suffering well from our Latin American pastors who are far more familiar with it. Read more »
  • The Lord worked miraculously through your generosity to help CMI’s Encounter with God Church (Encuentro con Dios) in Caracas, Venezuela, purchase a new church home after being abruptly kicked out just before the paralyzing pandemic hit. Read more»

This just skims the surface of the HUGE impact YOUR prayers and support continue to make to reach Latin America’s major cities with the gospel!

So, as we head into the Thanksgiving season, our hearts are full of gratitude for you. Thank you for helping us reach thousands of lives for Jesus in many of Latin America’s most important cities!

In Christ,

Craig
